That’s hot!

CJ Kanuha took his standup paddleboard in for a closer look at where the world’s most active volcano meets water. He paddled within 20ft of the lava flow and escaped with only the wax melted off his surfboard and burned feet. Things could have gone worse in nature’s hot tub for the young surfer with such a made-up-sounding name since water temps can hit 200C in some places.
