Surfer Dude in Newport Beach Thursday

The actor will appear Thursday at a screening of his film, ‘Surfer, Dude.’

Actor Matthew McConaughey will appear in Newport Beach on Thursday for a screening of his new film, “Surfer, Dude.”

McConaughey is scheduled to arrive at the Edwards Island Cinemas 7 at 7:15 p.m. to introduce the movie and host a drawing for a surfboard that he autographed.

The actor produced and stars in “Surfer, Dude,” a comedy about a surfer who must deal with a drought of waves at his Southern California home break.

The theater is at 999 Newport Center Drive. Only a few tickets for the screening are available. For more information, click HERE.
